Okay… here goes.  I have three thoughts on this whole Google “Search” Plus craziness

1. Woooooohooooo!! Never has it been easier to get search engine visibility for my targeted audiences…real estate agents.

2. Uh oh…is this legal from a free enterprise no monopoly point of view? Hey, this was probably inevitable anyway.

3. Woooohooooo!

So if you’ve been living under a rock (or selling houses like you should be doing) then you probably are wondering what I’m talking about.

A magic formula for instant SEO juice has been given to real estate agents. Hey, the face of SEO has literally changed over night. Google has released Google “Search” Plus which basically allows everyone who added you to their circles to see your updates 1st when they search for certain terms in Google.

Now I’ve been stewing over this for a while. I can show you better than tell you.

Yesterday morning I searched for “homes for sale in Gilbert AZ” in google…. Here’s what I got:

Chris Apple is a guy that’s in my circle on Google Plus. Everyday all day he floods my Google newsfeed with updates on whats for sale, most likely for clients (correct me if I’m wrong Chris).  As a result of his hard work? Now when I search for “homes for sale in Gilbert” his posts outrank Zillow and other sites.

So what does this mean? Imagine if you focus on growing your Google Plus account with RELEVANT and TARGETED LOCAL potential HOME BUYERS. And then post RELEVANT and TARGETED LOCAL content and listings daily? Lightbulb?

I’ll leave you to think about that for a while. Do you think this is fair to businesses or do you think this was inevitable? I want to hear from you.

Until then, I’ll be adding real estate agents to my circle and posting about real estate marketing and our other services. What about you?
