A few years ago, you may have thought that was a bold statement. After a few hours of searching it becomes difficult to decide who is best equipped to handle your social media.

I’m going to be really honest, as usual… real estate marketing professionals like me know that as a small real estate business you are looking for that holy grail.. “Brand Loyalty.”  You are looking for someone to grow your brand by engaging, educating and entertaining potential customers.

Here’s how you can find them:

1. Research, research, research

Even before you start to talk to a real estate social media consultant, do some research on the subject. Learn about the different things a consultant can offer that you can’t do yourself. Check out some blogs. Look at a sample agency’s Facebook or Twitter feed. Take the time to see what your competitors are doing to help their business grow. It’s smart to know what’s available and who is already in the game.

You can also begin searching for a social media agency using Google, Yelp or other social media searches. Using these services will help you quickly narrow down your search for a social media consultant. While searching, consider whether you want a consultant that is local or if you’re okay with the consultant living out of state.
